[00:00:00] Speaker A: Welcome Everybody to today's NeoMag Live. If you're listening to us on the podcast, you might want to go and check out this YouTube video. We're going to be showing a lot of things visually that you're not going to be able to hear visually.
[00:00:13] Speaker B: He's going to take his pants off.
[00:00:14] Speaker A: Kind of how that works. I might, you never know, things might get a little wild.
[00:00:17] Speaker B: Who knows?
[00:00:18] Speaker A: We have, we have a few things to kind of show you guys. What we're hoping is that you guys have some questions. If you guys have anything product wise. Do you have questions? In fact, I think my text that I sent out ask anything.
So we might get asked, why is Nate wearing this hat?
We might get asked, hey, I have
[00:00:38] Speaker B: this rash that go see your medical profession.
[00:00:41] Speaker A: I just can't seem to get rid
[00:00:43] Speaker B: of or scratch it a lot.
[00:00:46] Speaker A: People might say my stool just doesn't seem to be normal lately. Any of those medical questions. We are not the people. Even though we might have experience.
[00:00:55] Speaker B: I absolutely have experience in all of those things.
[00:00:58] Speaker A: Might have experience.
[00:00:59] Speaker B: Those are not over a long term rash.
[00:01:01] Speaker A: Oh, those are not the questions that we are super fit to be answering today. We could always try our best.
[00:01:08] Speaker B: Speak to yourself. I'm so, so ready.
[00:01:10] Speaker A: You're ready to answer those questions.
[00:01:12] Speaker B: I'll answer those questions.
[00:01:13] Speaker A: It'll help you, you know, maybe have some relationship problems. But that's, you know, if we wanted to go there, we could. But what we are more prepared for is answering your product kind of specifically. Any other products that we make or sell.
I don't know. Maybe you just want to chat guns. We'd like to.
[00:01:33] Speaker B: We like guns.
[00:01:34] Speaker A: Like guns. Like to chat. Chat guns. Even though we don't have any up on the board behind me right now.
[00:01:38] Speaker B: Well, we were running late.
[00:01:39] Speaker A: Kind of looks bad back there.
Meaning of life. We could definitely get into that. We're going to need more time than I think what we have today.
[00:01:46] Speaker B: I'll put something back there.
[00:01:47] Speaker A: And shorts.
The meaning of life is to love others. Love God.
When is the alias belt with a co buckle size 32 going to be available, Nate?
[00:02:00] Speaker B: A couple weeks.
[00:02:01] Speaker A: Couple weeks.
[00:02:03] Speaker B: Couple weeks. Should be available in a couple weeks. They are on order and they'll be back soon.
[00:02:10] Speaker A: I have everything except Geo says he has everything except the belt. I'm wearing it today. I'm actually going to be show you crotch. This is.
[00:02:19] Speaker B: I told you he's gonna take his pants off.
[00:02:20] Speaker A: This belt is actually. This is the proto.
Oh, I'm still wearing the OG one. Off proto that we had before we.
[00:02:27] Speaker B: There you go.
[00:02:28] Speaker A: Went to production, still wearing it all these years. Oh, guess I meant to show you this. So we had a guy, a guy, not a girl that bought the number two NeoMag.
Like he had my. He stole the package. The OG OG number two of 100 of the very first hundred I made back in 2015.
He reached out because the magnet came out. He was like, hey, just want to see what's the best way to put the magnet in.
10 years later, 11 years later, hey, magnet came out. I was like, listen, you can epoxy back in. However, I would love to send you, would love to send you a Gen 2, a brand new Gen 2 NeoMag.
[00:03:08] Speaker B: We should send him. Send him.
[00:03:10] Speaker A: Oh, you have one.
[00:03:12] Speaker B: The special edition.
[00:03:13] Speaker A: Special edition one Gen 2 which are on sale.
These are 25% off on the website right now.
[00:03:18] Speaker B: So go get you an individual. This is number 33 of 100. Probably can't see it, but it's on there.
[00:03:25] Speaker A: So last year we launched the NeoMag Gen 2. When we did that, we came out with a hundred just like we. I did back in 2015. Back in the day, I made a hundred of these. They are titanium nitride. The brackets, they are numbered. They come with a card that I hand wrote in my very poor handwriting.
[00:03:46] Speaker B: They come with a brass challenge coin. And if you look under the foam, there's secrets under the foam there's another clip.
[00:03:52] Speaker A: There's an extended clip. So it comes with a short clip on. It comes with extended clips. So you can swap those if you want. Those are. Those are very cool.
[00:04:01] Speaker B: Well, I'm glad the suspense, I'm. I'm hoping that was what you're talking about. The suspense is killing you on the special edition. So yeah, this has been out for a little while. Go hit the custom shop to pick one of these up. They're 25 off right now. Yeah, we have a number left. I actually am not saying that because I don't. Because I trying to be deceitful. I literally don't know how many we have left.
Yes, this says 33. That doesn't mean we have 33.
[00:04:26] Speaker A: And for those who again are listening, it also comes in a really nice hard, foamy box case has a lock on it. There are keys in there for it.
[00:04:35] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:04:36] Speaker A: But we wanted to. We wanted to give you a case that actually served a purpose even outside of this. So if you want to use it, it's waterproo.
You can put your valuables in there.
[00:04:44] Speaker B: Greg has built his out for a little range box, range bag, battery box, which is pretty cool. So you can do that.
[00:04:51] Speaker A: Yeah, lots of cool stuff there.
[00:04:53] Speaker B: So there you go.
[00:04:53] Speaker A: And again, just to kind of use the point of this guy reaching out 11 years later that his magic hand with it. And actually I designed the. I changed the design of it.
It's cracking a cold one.
I changed the design after that first run. The first run, I actually glued the magnets in.
We trap them in now. So just if anybody's worried about that. The magnet shouldn't literally, especially gen 2, it is fully enclosed.
[00:05:18] Speaker B: Yeah. I mean, the only way.
[00:05:19] Speaker A: Well, Gen 2, it can encapsulated if
[00:05:22] Speaker B: you got the Gen 1, which is not even the Gen 1, but we don't need to get into that version because you can still get the original NeoMag version. The only way you get the magnet out is by crushing it.
[00:05:33] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:05:34] Speaker B: If you crush it, the tough cookies, I think you're Neo magic.
[00:05:37] Speaker A: And to do that and to crush a steel plate, the whole package is goaded.
[00:05:42] Speaker B: It's true.
[00:05:43] Speaker A: Penguin says good to see you, Penguin. I'm excited to do this.
These lives again this way. Good to see some of you guys who have been coming to these for quite some time.
[00:05:52] Speaker B: Rifle stowaway.
[00:05:53] Speaker A: Anything for rifle stowaway.
[00:05:56] Speaker B: Do you mean like when you drop it when it's slung and you want it to not like spin around and move? Is that what you're talking about when you say stowaway clip?
[00:06:05] Speaker A: Yeah. Let us know what you're. What you're looking for. If that's what you're talking about. You would not be the first person to ask for that.
Or will you be the last?
But we, as of right now, we're not planning on that. I've thought about. I thought through that. The thing is, there's already a few things out on the market that do that. That do that. That do a really good job at it.
[00:06:24] Speaker B: I mean. But if he wants. With an alias receiver. Yeah, we don't have that.
[00:06:28] Speaker A: Yeah. If it. Yeah.
[00:06:29] Speaker B: If you want a longer description that is too long for you to type, you can email us at.
[00:06:35] Speaker A: They still type it well, but too
[00:06:38] Speaker B: long for a comment.
[00:06:39] Speaker A: Yeah. Email us at
[email protected] if you.
If you want to give us more details on that.
[00:06:44] Speaker B: Oh, no.
[00:06:46] Speaker A: To store away. So you want to like.
[00:06:48] Speaker B: Like inside your safe.
[00:06:50] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:06:50] Speaker B: Like attach a clip to your rifle or attach a receiver to your rifle and then clip it into like your safe or something like that.
[00:06:58] Speaker A: Yeah. And I've thought about. Because I've thought about rifle Alias, rifle accessories and you won't want to put a clip on your rifle because they are kind of sharp. They're meant to. The clip on Alias is kind of meant to always be in a receiver.
They can be sharp. So the.
[00:07:16] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:07:16] Speaker A: You wouldn't, you would not want an exposed clip on your rifle. So then I thought about putting that point to.
[00:07:21] Speaker B: Anyways.
[00:07:21] Speaker A: Yeah, I've thought about putting a receiver on a rifle but honestly my first question is what am I going to attach that really we'd have to build a. That you want to be able to quick take a. Yeah. There's things I thought about there again I try not to come up with.
Some of you guys are going to very much disagree with what I'm about to say. But this is the truth of it is I try not to come up with things. I try not to solve problems that don't exist or try to solve a problem that's already solved. Really well.
If I can put my spin on something and try to improve upon a product that's already out there.
For example, our, our rigs products to me are. Are kind of that.
[00:08:02] Speaker B: Yeah, we put a spin on it
[00:08:03] Speaker A: that we aren't doing anything that very
[00:08:06] Speaker B: few people are doing and we're doing it at a price point that very few people are doing.
[00:08:09] Speaker A: Yeah. So there are multiple ways to improve upon a product. There obviously there is function but there's also price. And if we can make American made products with American sourced materials and offered at a price that's less than anything else on the market, that alone is a win. Even if again I'm not copying anything like. Exactly.
But if you, even if I were, let's say copy something that's out there and I could offer it at a better price. I don't know if you make belts or holsters, you're kind of copying what's. What's out there for the most part. But if you can offer spin offs.
[00:08:40] Speaker B: But yeah, there's belts and holsters out there now. Okay. PP Alias for the sling.
[00:08:49] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:08:49] Speaker B: Have a sentry strap for that.
[00:08:50] Speaker A: He might be talking about like a qd. I thought about using Alias as like a QD type of point.
[00:08:55] Speaker B: Fair. We could, I think it would be big and clunky like that's, that's the biggest issue is it's going to be big.
[00:09:02] Speaker A: I just don't know that it's going to be a big improve again. Is it going to be an improvement over what's out there? Right now.
[00:09:09] Speaker B: Hot take. I hate QDs.
[00:09:12] Speaker A: I do too.
[00:09:13] Speaker B: I think they're silly. Somebody in the comments tell me how often are you switching slings around your rifles?
Because that. Unless you're some super cool Delta seal dev grew operator, Shadow Force, as I've been hearing around the Instagram world, with the exception of somebody that literally needs to get their sling off quick because they're in a situation that they need to separate themselves from the rifle for whatever reason, I just, I find QDs
[00:09:40] Speaker A: to be
[00:09:44] Speaker B: not helpful. I've had too many of them fail and I think the alien. An alias version of it with a clip. I just, I.
I'm sure we could make a sleekish version, but it's going to be bigger than a qd.
[00:09:55] Speaker A: Honestly, I love.
And this is going to sound very
[00:09:59] Speaker B: biased, the rigs with.
[00:10:00] Speaker A: I love the rigs with the sling ring. Either the sling ring or paracord or whatever, I love it. That's.
[00:10:06] Speaker B: Heck, you could probably even just do a zip tip zip tie if you wanted to.
[00:10:09] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah.
[00:10:11] Speaker B: I love it through the rigs, not instead of the rigs. A zip tie to the rigs for your sling is what I'm saying.
[00:10:16] Speaker A: Yeah, but that's my favorite way to detach. It's just, it's low profile, it's quiet, it's cheap, it's multifunctional. That's great.
[00:10:26] Speaker B: I'm not actually using the sling. I like to have it removed.
[00:10:30] Speaker A: Why? Why?
Yeah, I'd like to know why.
[00:10:33] Speaker B: Because if it's a stowing issue in your safe, we have the sentry strap to stow it nice and flat against your rifle so it doesn't get caught in anything.
[00:10:42] Speaker A: Once I put a sling on a rifle, it doesn't come off unless if I'm changing.
[00:10:45] Speaker B: Yeah, I mean, slings, there's some change in setups. The one caveat to all of this is when you're disassembling a rifle, if it's hard, pointed to both sides, meaning to the lower and the upper, then you kind of have a nunchuck situation with a lower and an upper. And that can get annoying.
But outside of that, I think.
Trying to think there's one rifle in my safe that doesn't have a. Of the AR style rifles, there's one that doesn't have a sling on it.
This is because I'm not actively using that gun on a regular basis and I took the sling off years, and I mean literally years ago and put it on something else.
All my other rifles, the slings have Literally been on them since I got them to final setup and they haven't been removed since.
So
[00:11:34] Speaker A: Sergio says. I. I did feel the same about the clip, but magnet to a receiver. I was curious what you're responding to there.
I'm not following. I just want to make. I don't want to ignore your.
Your thought process there. That just gets in the way. When I have my family shoot. It gets in their way and confuses them.
Oh, okay.
I would just put the sling on them or keep it staged with the center strap. But.
[00:12:01] Speaker B: Well, but I. I mean if you. I get it.
[00:12:03] Speaker A: If you want to take it off, that's your preference.
100. If you. Listen. If you have a purpose for taking a sling off a rifle, great.
[00:12:10] Speaker B: That's all that matters.
[00:12:11] Speaker A: There are products on the market for you.
[00:12:12] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:12:13] Speaker A: That's kind of how this all started. I have Dana Defense M4V5 Picatinny Rail. Any plans on making things available for these?
[00:12:23] Speaker B: About. For Picatinny in particular, we don't have anything currently in the works for quadrail.
I would not ever say.
[00:12:34] Speaker A: Yeah, I won't say.
[00:12:35] Speaker B: I won't say never. Absolutely not.
[00:12:37] Speaker A: What kind of things are you looking for? That's kind of a vague.
[00:12:39] Speaker B: If you're looking for light mounts, if you're looking for four grips, those kind of things. None of ours currently work with that. But that doesn't mean we can't figure out a version that would.
[00:12:49] Speaker A: Sure.
[00:12:50] Speaker B: There would be some engineering and prototyping. It would be a little bit of time before that could release. But in theory, if the. If the demand is there, we could do it.
I don't think we could do the rigs.
[00:13:02] Speaker A: There are a couple products I've thought about.
I'm going to be very big here that I've thought about that would attach to. Because almost every rail still has pick on the top.
[00:13:09] Speaker B: Correct.
[00:13:10] Speaker A: Some of our type A's have pick on the very end.
[00:13:13] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:13:14] Speaker A: Even though everything else is M lock. So pick is never going to completely go away.
[00:13:17] Speaker B: Ever. Never. Well, and some guys prefer the rigidity and the heat non retention. I don't know. The heat protection I think because it still retains heat. But the heat protection that like a quad rail will give you.
Generally speaking, most of the quad rail lockups are just very secure. There's a lot of benefits to the quad rail setup.
[00:13:37] Speaker A: But talking about rifle stowaway and safe panel system. Yeah. So yeah. There.
Could I make something to go on your rifle to stow on like a panel? Absolutely.
But again, I actually.
And and maybe I just need to actually put some time into protoing it. But my thoughts are just as I picture it and go through everything.
You would need two points to attach. If you put it on one, it's going to swing on it.
[00:14:08] Speaker B: Yeah. Unless you literally need set on the ground.
[00:14:10] Speaker A: They need two. So am I going to put two alias points on there? No, I think that would be really annoying to try to line up and get in there. So if you have one alias point on there to hang it, you still want something else to keep it from swinging around. At that point, you might as well just use two like C. C clamps or something like that.
[00:14:26] Speaker B: So let's just say it'll. It'll never be there. There's never a definitive no unless the idea is just completely ridiculous. There's probably never a no. We would never even look at it.
I don't want to say that because ideas pop up all the time and we're working on stuff all the time.
[00:14:46] Speaker A: We might be working on something that
[00:14:47] Speaker B: will do that, but not with Alias.
So just. There's options.
[00:14:52] Speaker A: Yeah. So, you know, Sergio is asking us everything that we make for M Lock to make available for. For quadrail. And I'll never say never on that.
[00:14:59] Speaker B: The only one that I could say would be difficult to do for quad rail is the actual rigs panels themselves.
[00:15:07] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:15:10] Speaker B: It would end up looking like what the old Knights armament, like rail covers were, which takes a quadrail, which is already fat and turns it into a log.
[00:15:18] Speaker A: But the nice thing about a pick rail, a lot of pickers already, they're already milled in a way that you
[00:15:23] Speaker B: can run wires and recess things.
[00:15:24] Speaker A: Recess them. And part of what we did with rigs is we wanted to bring wire routing into handguards.
Going to a pick rail, making handguards, you kind of don't need to do the wire routing.
[00:15:35] Speaker B: But we could still do a flashlight mount.
[00:15:38] Speaker A: Yes. Yeah.
And hand stop.
[00:15:40] Speaker B: Hand stop. No problem. Absolutely.
And again, I'll never say. I don't think we'll ever say never.
The problem is trying to prioritize things in the list of things to do and making sure there's a demand for the thing that we're working on, because that's ultimately, if we make something, we. We want to be able to sell it if the demand's not there.
[00:16:01] Speaker A: And I actually don't have a problem making something that maybe I don't necessarily need. But if you need it, if there's enough other people. Oh, absolutely, absolutely.
[00:16:08] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:16:08] Speaker A: Then I'll make It doesn't.
A lot of my ideas are from my own needs but I'm not afraid of making stuff based on. On a customer feedback and things we're looking for.
I'm thinking with the alias for sling, not necessarily for rifle attachment but as a lockable opening mid sling that could attach the front armor panel.
[00:16:30] Speaker B: If it's hard to explain, write it
[00:16:32] Speaker A: up in an email and send it to info@the newmag.com.
[00:16:37] Speaker B: oh no, I was actually going to say LLE.
[00:16:39] Speaker A: Oh yeah, they can. I forgot about that email. You guys can.
Yeah, don't actually don't send it to my. Those will go to my wife, which I'm sure you can. She'll forward them to me. But you can email us at life liberty equip1p.gmail.com.
[00:16:55] Speaker B: yeah, do that.
Mostly because we want emails to go to that email. But yeah, yeah, if you actually genuinely, if you have a thought and can figure out a way to write it up and, or draw it up and send a picture. Thumbs up.
[00:17:09] Speaker A: Let's do that. I've actually thought about doing a, like an email blast that's like hey you, you like our products? Obviously sign up for our email. What are products that you would like to see? NeoMag take, you know, NeoMax take on
[00:17:24] Speaker B: something and just see what.
[00:17:25] Speaker A: Let's see what we get and we'll make it some. Make some gold.
[00:17:29] Speaker B: Well, Sergio, that's why we're, we're here.
That's why we're doing this live so that we can answer questions, interact with you guys, give you guys a chance to know who we are hopefully and maybe get a sneak peek of things or think about, you know, what's next.
[00:17:46] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:17:47] Speaker B: So we're happy to do that to give a shout out. Our customer service is actually Greg's wife, Libby. She's fantastic. She overly cares for all of you guys.
[00:17:56] Speaker A: She's way nicer than what some, some
[00:17:58] Speaker B: folks that buy from us don't deserve the care that she gives.
So shout out to Libby for all of the wonderful work she does taking care of you guys as our customers.
Any questions she can't answer gets forward along to us and we answer it as quickly as we can. But she is the powerhouse behind the customer service and the care that you guys get after your purchase or even before because I know that she interacts with you guys. Some of you guys answers a lot of questions before when you're having issues and stuff like that. So thumbs up to Libby. She's awesome.
[00:18:28] Speaker A: Yeah.
So as we Continue to talk here. Feel free to post post your questions if you have any questions. We do have a couple things, kind of a little bit of show and tell here.
[00:18:36] Speaker B: Go show.
[00:18:38] Speaker A: First thing is you guys that are on the podcast are looking at some trays and stuff in front of us here. Oh yeah, we partnered up, we, with our good friend Billy at Make Ready Firearms. We had him on the podcast for an interview. If you haven't heard that, definitely go check that out.
Billy's just a really cool guy, very, very talented and he came up with this, with this camo she came out and it's essentially, it's all black but instead of like changing the colors of the black, he changes the sheen level. Sheen, the gloss level of it. So they had his M P done in this and we just thought it would look really cool on our products. So this month we did a custom shop, shop of these. We still have a couple left.
We have the tack trap Nate's holding up there right now. Tech trap EDC and we have a NeoMag.
[00:19:30] Speaker B: NeoMag also very cool.
[00:19:33] Speaker A: And then we have Charmiani. And then we have a, a mini EDC tray and large EDC tray. It's, it's a very subdued black camo. It's, it's not black, it's not black multicam. It's the same kind of pattern.
[00:19:47] Speaker B: Yeah, same, same pattern. The color variation is different. I'm, it's really hard to get this in.
[00:19:52] Speaker A: This reminds me of. You ever seen the Toyota Tundra trd, their wheel wells or the, the, the, the wheel flares that they did on it? I think it was, I don't know if that's still this way. I remember going to auto show maybe two years ago and the wheel flares had this really cool, very subdued like camo pattern. And it was, it was kind of sheen esque. Esque.
But they, I mean they, they, they controlled it through like a, a, a texture that they put on certain textures, stuff like that anyway do the same thing. Yeah, it's kind of tangent, but it reminds me of that where it's, it's very subdued. You kind of don't see it till you, till you get up close to it.
[00:20:38] Speaker B: Yeah, I was going to say, I mean you, you've been with me on the range shooting with my gun. You actually really don't pay attention to the fact that it's Cera coated. There's not bright colors and stuff with it.
You guys can go and look at some of my videos on my, my Instagram shooting It and until I get it into frame, it just looks like a black gun.
[00:20:55] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:20:56] Speaker B: Which I like. I like that it's subtle. You still get a cool camo pattern on it, but it doesn't scream camera.
[00:21:02] Speaker A: You know, there's of us out there that are like. I'm not like a big, you know, loud camo gun guy. I don't need, you know, flame multicam and everything like that. But I still kind of want something custom and something.
Something cool. This. This fits that bill. I'm actually really excited at any minute now I should be getting a green sheen. I guess Billy to never done it before.
I gave him a slide to my MP and I was like hey, I love. I love the sheen. But you already had the black.
Black sheen. I didn't want to. I don't want to copy Nate like to be unique. So I had him do a unique green sheen. So I'm looking forward to seeing that.
[00:21:39] Speaker B: I mean my whole gun is done though. That is the difference. You only have the slide done. My entire gun is. Is the pattern. Because I had him cerakote the whole thing and stipple.
So I've got a custom stipple job. And the. The Cerakote.
[00:21:54] Speaker A: He didn't stick with the whole thing though.
[00:21:55] Speaker B: Yes he did seracoted the frame. He seracotated the Magwell.
[00:21:58] Speaker A: I guess I didn't look that close at it.
[00:21:59] Speaker B: He seracoted the. The slide.
I think we even sprayed the safety.
I'm trying to remember. So I was there for the whole thing.
[00:22:08] Speaker A: Yeah.
I might send him my. And then we stippled it Magwell.
I should have sent him my mag. Well with the slide I think about till now.
[00:22:16] Speaker B: That's Anyways.
[00:22:17] Speaker A: Anyway. These we still have literally like.
Like single digit left of each of each of these.
So go check those out. Then we. We've been very kind of custom tray stuff heavy the last few weeks.
This last week we released our watch stand. So if you're a watch guy or gal and you want a really nice premium high end premium watch stand. Something that organizes and displays your watches. We came out with the watch stand a couple years ago but we've. We kind of. We were really trying to keep costs down so we. We were anodizing them which the quality
[00:22:53] Speaker B: was just not great.
[00:22:54] Speaker A: Yeah, it's not. It's not what Cerakote is. And some people's feedback was. I have this really nice Cerakota tray and the washstand attaches to it, but it doesn't match black doesn't match like
[00:23:05] Speaker B: if you were putting a black one on a OD green or a burnt bronze or something, it's not as big a deal. Yeah but I mean it still doesn't match because it's an inno versus a cerakote. But like black to black was where it really was. Sore. Sore thumb.
[00:23:22] Speaker A: So we, we're circling that. We are seracoting now and we also added the other colors. So if you have burnt bronze OD fte, if you have a tray or you want to get a tray in one of those colors and a watch stand with it, they. They all will match perfectly. Now you can choose the same leather that's in tray for the little inserts in the watch stand. It is. I tell you what, like when we were doing the photos, the burnt bronze,
[00:23:45] Speaker B: it's the best color.
[00:23:46] Speaker A: The burnt bronze and black just.
[00:23:49] Speaker B: Burt bronze is by far my favorite of our circle.
[00:23:52] Speaker A: It is such a cool color.
[00:23:54] Speaker B: Black wool is probably the be the most popular for the obvious reason that it's black. But I think bourbon bronze is our second most popular color. And I. It's my favorite hands down. Yeah, it's just. You get like these little kind of metal flaky.
[00:24:10] Speaker A: It's got a little flake to it.
[00:24:11] Speaker B: Flake to it. It's just, it's a good look.
[00:24:12] Speaker A: But if it's in a, if it's in a darker room, it's still.
You don't necessarily get that, get that flake. It's. It's a little more subtle. It's. It's really cool. I could, I want to.
I want one for home. But they, they. Honestly, they sell as soon as they get in. So I haven't taken one for myself.
But they look very.
[00:24:27] Speaker B: And while you're buying the micro.
[00:24:30] Speaker A: Yes, we released the micro which I use every day. Dump tray. I do too.
[00:24:35] Speaker B: The micro dump tray is super cool. It fits. You can either put it in the tray or use it as a standalone item. I use it as a standalone item.
Sits in my office. I use it as a phone stand Primarily when I'm FaceTiming Tiberius actually.
But it works great.
You can hold your phone horizontal or vertical on it if you want to. You throw one of your magnetic chargers on the back. It doesn't have to move. And then you got space for change.
[00:25:00] Speaker A: Yeah, I've got mine in front of me on my desk as well. And yeah, I've got a couple of screws, spare rounds and springs and a little, little things in it. So yeah, like it's the, the, the Tray kind of ecosystem has grown, is. Has grown. I have you a couple more ideas for it as well. We might, might kind of go off some offense and directions with it, but we want to show you guys these just in case you missed any of our email, social posts or anything like that.
[00:25:31] Speaker B: Go get one.
[00:25:32] Speaker A: Go get one of these. They are really nice. I promise you you will not be disappointed in those.
And then I am hopefully pretty soon you're going to be going out to DSS to shoot this steel match. So I got a track meet, my son's track meet. It's not far from the range and I'm like, oh, I can go shoot the steel match on the way. So I was getting everything together for the steel match. It's kind of rainy today, so I'm probably not going to work from concealment. It's a little cooler too.
I'm probably going to work from my OWB belt. I have here in front of me a the battle belt light from Blue Alpha. And then pretty much everything other than the med pack is attached using our battle belt.
[00:26:16] Speaker B: Well, that. The tech trap, but the radio source.
[00:26:18] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, everything. All the Alias stuff is attached with the battle belt receiver. So if you guys aren't aren't familiar with this, you can take our battle belt receiver. It has Velcro on the inside of it essentially, and then our receiver attached to it and it just sticks to the inside of the belt. So if you have a battle belt and there's something that you want to be able to quick detach, I know a lot of people like to just. They want, they want things attached to the belt permanently. They're not going to move it, they're not going to swap it or anything. In that case, by all means molly it on there. Yeah. But if there are things that you want to be able to swap in and out, you can. And I just had this belt completely done just because it's, it's a demo in a lot of ways. But I'm going to go shoot a SEAL match today. I'm going to wear this. I've got three pistol mag holders with the alias adapters clicked into the battle belt receiver. I have my Alias drop adapter with QLS with my Louv holster also attached on there. So I have my ear Pro hanging on a, on a tac trap. So this whole, this whole thing is kind of kitted out with the other stuff, so I thought I would just grab and show you. I don't think we've talked about stuff so much much. This Year. So if you guys have any questions on this, on. On when I get set up with something like this or if it'll work with your. With your.
Then that's also why we're here.
[00:27:40] Speaker B: Yeah. I mean, as a note for you guys, if you're gonna do this setup, when we send you your OWB adapter, so your Molle adapters, your standard adapter, or your drop adapter, you're going to get a little hardware kit with it. And there's a longer spacer, so you need a little bit more offset between.
Hold on.
Between the clip side and the plate side.
So we send a longer spacer in there. They come standard with the shorter spacer, which is built around our Alias belt, but they'll come with that longer spacer in the hardware pack. So if you threw that away and you're interested, let us know and we'll help you out with it. But if you still have your hardware pack, the longer spacer is right there in the package waiting for you to be able to do that. So that's pretty cool.
[00:28:27] Speaker A: Yeah.
The nice thing is I'm also wearing my alias belt and I have receivers on it. If, when I get to the range, I'm like, I really don't want to use my battle belt, I can just take the drop adapter off of this belt, click it onto the belt that. My EDC belt that I'm wearing right now, I can click that on. I could do the same thing with the, with the, with the mag holders. I'm probably gonna. If. If I go crimp concealment, or let's say I want to go OWB holster, but still reload from the neomag because I'm actually faster reloading from neomag than I am from this, believe it or not.
Just I have all those options. So that's kind of what I love about the system.
[00:29:03] Speaker B: So, Sergio, actually, to answer your comment, we have something being machined currently that'll help you with this problem.
But generally speaking, for those that are
[00:29:15] Speaker A: listening on the podcast, can you pose the question?
[00:29:17] Speaker B: Oh, I'm sorry. So what Sergio asked was or stated was the NeoMag Gen 2 still doesn't hide my magazine all the way from my P365 extended finger California compliant magazine that I bought. He bought both the regular and extended clip, and he was suggesting if we were to switch the magnet away around, it would allow it to.
[00:29:37] Speaker A: To drop further, which I'm not sure I follow that, but.
[00:29:40] Speaker B: No. But regardless, we have something that we're working on that should help you with that.
But what I was going to say is a general rule if you have more than like a Plus 2 Plus or Plus 4, the extended clip is only so long.
We can only get it quite so deep into the.
Into the pocket itself.
But we're working on something right now for the SIG365 in particular that should actually help you guys get that a little bit deeper into your pocket.
[00:30:14] Speaker A: Just want to look up.
What about that magazine?
[00:30:20] Speaker B: It just has a longer extended base plate on it Greg, that's going to make it sit higher on the neomag.
[00:30:26] Speaker A: Is it a 10 round? What? What round? Well, it has to be 10 or less, right?
[00:30:32] Speaker B: Yeah but it sounds like it's. If it's the standard P365 but he's trying to get the. A finger extension on it. It's going to be beefy on the bottom so it's going to make it sit higher.
[00:30:44] Speaker A: It might just. Is it just like a finger rest? I've not seen just a finger rest for that mag. I'm just right. Like a ten round magazine doesn't have an extension on it.
[00:30:52] Speaker B: You can get larger magazines that still are stopped at 10 rounds.
[00:30:56] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:30:58] Speaker B: That would be my. My guess is that it's a longer magazine that in our state would allow us to carry like 20 rounds but in. In California it won't.
[00:31:09] Speaker A: So I mean I believe you. That's problems. I'm curious because I've got a lot of 365 magazines on my desk right now for a reason I've not.
[00:31:20] Speaker B: It's coming your way.
[00:31:23] Speaker A: Sorry. This is very exciting for those watching. I'm surfing the Internet here as I'm looking.
[00:31:27] Speaker B: Well, he's doing that. Hey Michael, welcome from Nebraska. It's been a while. Hope you've been well.
But yeah, so the extended clip is only gonna go quite so far.
If we get this clip much longer than that we start losing retention.
We start having issues from that perspective. So yes, it would drop your mag deeper into your pocket. But.
[00:31:54] Speaker A: And I would say if you can get. The easiest thing would probably be if you can just get a regular ten round magazine that doesn't have a.
[00:32:03] Speaker B: Remember how short that P3 the original.
[00:32:08] Speaker A: So here's the. Like there's give and take with. With all. With every. With everything. Right.
If what's more important to you is again we're both turn around magazines. So. So capacity is not part of this conversation. If concealment is more is more important to you than having an extension on it Then my suggestion would be get a 10 round magazine that doesn't have the extension on it and just use that for your, for your pocket mag. Because again, even though we, we sell a product for reloads, the chances of needing a reload are very small.
The chances of needing a gun are actually smaller. But if you, if you want to carry a spare, which I, I do, I fully believe that you should carry a spare. If concealment is the bigger thing, then I would just get a regular stock ten round magazine that doesn't have the grip on it.
[00:33:05] Speaker B: But I'm going to show you again something.
[00:33:08] Speaker A: Yeah. So we are working on just for those that maybe aren't not quite catching on because I did tease this last. I don't know last week on the
[00:33:16] Speaker B: podcast I think I talked about it.
[00:33:18] Speaker A: So we, we are working on, on Mag basis for the 365 line. We're actually actively machining them now that have a cutout for the Neo mag to fit up into the magazine.
[00:33:31] Speaker B: There you go.
He's ruining, ruining the surprise.
[00:33:35] Speaker A: However, I don't again, I'm not sure what magazine. I still don't know if I follow the magazine that, that you're using. I would like, I would like to see what you're using.
[00:33:44] Speaker B: It's probably a 17 round mag body or 15 maybe or 15 round mag body. But that as a block in it. So it only has a 10 round capacity.
[00:33:53] Speaker A: The only thing I'm wondering.
Okay. Yeah, as long as it's blocked on the inside. I know some, yeah, it's blocked on the inside. Some mags will actually like, they'll be like plastic on the outside. I haven't. I think this is, this is it here maybe I think this is the block.
So that, that, that little mag base right there. Yeah, we, we may or may not have something.
[00:34:10] Speaker B: Well, hopefully we do.
[00:34:11] Speaker A: That'll go on your magazine. That'll help. We'll do our best magazine sit deeper in the pocket.
[00:34:16] Speaker B: We're working on it. So keep, keep your eyes out.
I, we understand what the issue is and again like I said before, we've had issues with folks and their extended base plates pushing a, a mag out of the pocket. Right.
Again, our extended clip can only get so long before it stops being effective.
And if you're carrying in your case, I understand Sergio, you're in a little bit of a different scenario. But for the people that are trying to carry a 21 round magazine that has a plus 5 mag extension on it. I'm sorry, like there's only so much we can do.
What I will say, for most people that are concerned about Magbase sticking out of their pocket, nobody's paying attention.
Our world now lives on the phone and they don't pay attention to what anyone else is doing.
[00:35:04] Speaker A: I realize I live in Ohio and it's very different than living in California.
[00:35:07] Speaker B: Yeah, California.
[00:35:08] Speaker A: In 11 years I've never had anybody ask what that is in my, in my pocket.
[00:35:13] Speaker B: Because actually the comment that I've gotten is, man, you carry a lot of knives.
Yeah, that's normally the comment I get.
[00:35:18] Speaker A: Yeah. People don't, people's minds don't go straight to that is a firearm magazine. Now here's the thing. The people that know what it is don't care.
The people that don't know what it is, don't know what it is, don't know to care. So that's usually how that goes.
[00:35:32] Speaker B: Lt Rado the G Code Phenom clip should be shipping to us today.
Then we have to get it black nitrated. So I would say be on lookout for the website in the next week and a half or so. As soon as it arrives to us, I'll bring it over to get black nitrated.
[00:35:52] Speaker A: If you're signed up for, there should be an out of stock notification.
[00:35:54] Speaker B: Yeah, there should be an out of stock notification. So it should, you should get an email. But if you haven't signed up for
[00:35:57] Speaker A: that, so you know, next two weeks you should.
[00:35:59] Speaker B: It should be back in stock in the next two weeks. So we're just waiting on the manufacturer because while we designed it, we don't make that particular part ourselves. Right. So.
[00:36:10] Speaker A: And it's one of those products when we have in stock don't sell a lot. But as soon as we don't have it in stock, everyone wants it.
Well, five people really want it real bad.
[00:36:23] Speaker B: But anyway, so yes, look out on the website, if you haven't been signed up for out of stock notifications, it should be back on the website in the next week and a half. So if it gets delayed in shipping, that's, that's really the only thing that's going to hold it up at this point is the manufacturer said they were trying to ship it this week, specifically given me the date of today.
Once it arrives to us, then I just have to take it over finishing, which usually takes three to five days to get done. So as soon as that's done, it'll hit the website.
[00:36:54] Speaker A: Yeah. So Sergio says here Governor Stucks in California along with, with the other Dems.
The other thing I kind of wanted to say, but I wasn't going to go there. But since you're going there, my other suggestion was move to a free state.
[00:37:09] Speaker B: Understanding that that's not always.
[00:37:10] Speaker A: I know, I know, I know. It's. It's one of those. I. I roll my eyes as I say. As I say the same thing, but because there's some truth to it. Like I just saw. I saw Zeb is leaving.
[00:37:20] Speaker B: Oh, is that leaving California or.
[00:37:23] Speaker A: Yeah. Or where they're. Yeah, they're in California. Yeah, they're leaving whatever state they're in. I just saw that. That Zeb is moving out of their state because of.
[00:37:32] Speaker B: I don't see that. I don't see the government comment. That's sad.
Yeah. Lt Rado. Sorry about that, bud. It just. It takes time.
The folks that are manufacturing it for us are actually a larger company.
They do really good at prioritizing our stuff in their list. But this wasn't a huge order, so it just got pushed.
So it'll be. It will be back very soon.
He's been waiting for a while.
[00:37:58] Speaker A: Get yourself. I'm looking forward to getting them back too.
[00:38:00] Speaker B: So it'll be good.
Yeah. I don't see the government comment. Let me see.
[00:38:05] Speaker A: It's the one right above lt. Yeah.
[00:38:07] Speaker B: I'm not doubting you, but look, it's not on mine. See, I got this.
[00:38:11] Speaker A: Isn't there some like setting, like comments setting?
[00:38:15] Speaker B: If that's true, that's very set. Oh, all messages.
[00:38:17] Speaker A: All messages. There you go. Actually, I had top messages too.
[00:38:21] Speaker B: Did I miss anything else in there?
[00:38:22] Speaker A: I know. That's what I'm looking at too. Oh, no, I think we got it.
I think I saw everything up to this point.
[00:38:34] Speaker B: Sorry if we. If we missed your comment and make
[00:38:36] Speaker A: sure we have all comments.
[00:38:37] Speaker B: I didn't have the right settings on. My bad.
[00:38:39] Speaker A: Just picked up an Everly stock recon bino harness. I want us to out of the Molle panel for a holster attachment point and thinking I want to go with Alias system and the recommendations for holsters. I have that same vinyl harness.
I have not put a gun. I put a knife on it because they sell a.
Like an adapter that can Velcro. The cool thing about it believes you suck. I believe so.
It's almost set up like a, you know, like your plate carrier where you can Velcro up. Like I stick things in between it and Velcro it down.
They make a adapter that's like Molle
[00:39:16] Speaker B: that goes against that Velcro.
[00:39:17] Speaker A: Yeah, I have a knife on mine for that.
I do not have a suggestion right now to. To use Alias to attach a holster to that.
I think it's something I have on my list, my possible list of possible products in the future.
[00:39:34] Speaker B: I mean, we have the Molle receiver work. I don't know, is it a rigid panel or is it a soft panel?
[00:39:40] Speaker A: It's. Well, your only thing really uses Molle, so I'm always kind of floppy so the gun won't be attached very well. I honestly think it's something that if we do, we'll probably make a whole panel and it'll be. It'll be our own panel.
[00:39:58] Speaker B: Now to answer the other part of your question though, if you are looking for a holster just in general for Alias, we are actually now selling and our holsters on our website. We're limited options at the moment. We're waiting on a big restock, but there's that. But then if you're just looking in general or looking for brand suggestions in general, ANR is a great option for Alias stuff.
TXC is a great option for Alias stuff.
Tolster works very well with Alias.
I'm trying to think of the other brands that we, we use. North Coast Tactical can work with Alias
[00:40:37] Speaker A: most of Tier one.
[00:40:38] Speaker B: Yeah, most Tier one will work with Alias. So I mean one of the benefits of the Alias system, one of the things we've tried very hard with the Alias system is that it can work with most major manufacturers out there.
But those particular ones that I named all either we know works with it or actually even sells it on their website. So take that with for. For what it is.
So.
[00:41:04] Speaker A: Yep.
[00:41:06] Speaker B: What's up, Daff? It's been a while. Hope you're well.
[00:41:09] Speaker A: Michael said he. Michael McCoy coy said he got the Wilson Combat grip for the 365.
I'm sure that's nice. I don't know. I don't know that I've held that one. We actually just did a podcast episode about the 365 platform and all the grips and options, stuff like that. And we had a lot of them on hand, but I don't think we had the Wilson Combat Wilson. I'm sure it's everything Wilson does is very nice.
[00:41:35] Speaker B: Well, Daph, one of the things that has changed is we're only doing one actual life a month. The rest of them are pre recorded and just being posted. So you did catch us on one of our lives. So we appreciate you jumping on. So just if you guys are working through it ever. Basically the fourth Episode.
Yeah. The fourth episode of the podcast will always be live in our role of scheduling and stuff.
[00:42:00] Speaker A: I was going to go and look and see what's.
[00:42:02] Speaker B: So next week should be one's next
[00:42:05] Speaker A: and kind of tease next week's.
So.
I believe.
[00:42:13] Speaker B: I think next one's an lle, isn't it?
[00:42:15] Speaker A: I think so.
[00:42:17] Speaker B: So I think it should be our standard life Liberty equipped.
[00:42:22] Speaker A: Yeah. Not really sure what top but. So next week's episode is gonna be more topical. We'll have some kind of topic. So last week we talked about the 365 platform.
[00:42:32] Speaker B: That wasn't last week.
[00:42:33] Speaker A: I'm sorry, not last week. The last LLE episode we talked about 365 Platform. The one before that we talked about a bunch of other guns. I had talked about the Lone Wolf. I talked about warding Dusk and Timberwolf. I actually have my notes pulled up here.
Yeah, we talked about some guns. The cool thing, the nice thing about doing the pre recorded stuff was we can actually touch and handle guns right now. I get kicked off.
[00:42:59] Speaker B: Guns are scary.
You can't touch guns right now when we're live. But we can when it's pre recorded.
[00:43:03] Speaker A: Unfortunately some people ruin it for us when they off themselves on camera. On camera live. So that's general reason why they've cracked down on that. Which I get. I don't want my kids being on YouTube.
[00:43:15] Speaker B: Well Daff, we know that you, you're. I'm pretty sure if I don't. If I remember correctly you're living that retired life down in Florida. So I get not knowing what day of the week it is. That's pretty nice.
One day we'll all be there. It'll be great.
[00:43:24] Speaker A: Well the best way to do is just be here every week.
[00:43:29] Speaker B: Well there you go. Every Wednesday then you don't miss anything.
What I was gonna say because we
[00:43:34] Speaker A: still have a podcast. Like we still have something for you to watch every week and listen to at one o' clock every week. It's just some weeks it's pre recorded and we air it. Yep, air it at one but there's always something here. So just, just come every week.
[00:43:47] Speaker B: So next week will be topical. The week after that is an interview which I don't remember who we may or may not have lined up for that. And then the week after that is a game show.
It's a blast.
[00:43:57] Speaker A: It's my favorite.
[00:43:58] Speaker B: That poop hat back there, I'll be wearing that at the next game show because I lost.
[00:44:05] Speaker A: I was looking at like the the listens and watches and the game show episodes are some of the least watch and listen to. Which really bums me out because to me that's the most fun. They're most fun. The most like entertaining and actually they're kind of educational too.
[00:44:19] Speaker B: I found that I know nothing about our government.
[00:44:22] Speaker A: We. So we get embarrassed.
[00:44:23] Speaker B: Thought I knew more about my government than I did, but I guess I don't.
[00:44:26] Speaker A: Yeah, we kind of get embarrassed.
I would say live, but check.
[00:44:30] Speaker B: GPT is wrong too.
[00:44:31] Speaker A: But pre recorded we get.
We get embarrassed for our lack of knowledge and I still have yet to anybody but I would love to hear some people, you know, that also kind of kept score with us and see what other people get too.
[00:44:44] Speaker B: Yeah, our employees here do.
One of our guys here watches it every week or every. Every game show and he keeps score for himself.
But yeah, so I mean come out and check it out again.
I think the videos are fun. Topical. I. The topical ones are probably. I enjoy the topical ones. I think it's good discussion. But I think the most fun is the game show.
[00:45:05] Speaker A: Game shows for sure.
[00:45:07] Speaker B: But keep an eye out for the interviews too because we've had Billy from Make Ready Firearms. We had Scott Jadlinski. It's the last one last week or a couple weeks ago, Scott, we did an interview with him. We did an interview with John Patton from the Gun Collective.
We did an interview, although this was last season, but it doesn't matter. We did an interview with Rick from Achilles Heel Tactical.
All of those are super interesting. They're great discussions.
So those are always interesting to do too.
[00:45:37] Speaker A: Got to figure out who we're gonna have on this stolen. Still haven't booked somebody. I usually do that like kind of last minute, so I need to get on that. So we will have another interview. Yeah. So this season, which we've only got.
I think we're going through June and
[00:45:52] Speaker B: then take a break and that.
[00:45:52] Speaker A: Yeah, we're going to take a little bit of summer break from the. From the podcast. So. But this season we want to kind of want to spread things out, try some different things each week, see what people like the most and we'll see what we do. We do next season. But I know. I think all of our favorite is the. Is the game show.
It's a lot of fun again because.
[00:46:10] Speaker B: Well, there's. I mean I know you do a bunch of prep for it but like kind of just show up and play games.
[00:46:15] Speaker A: Yeah, the prep's fairly easy and because I just asked Chat GPT and I Can't even. I can't do a lot of prep because I don't want to know what the answers are because I want to play too.
[00:46:23] Speaker B: Yeah. So unless you're going to become truly the game show host.
[00:46:26] Speaker A: Yeah, if I'm the show host, which that might happen eventually. It'd be fun to have a guest join us for the game show as well.
[00:46:32] Speaker B: Yeah, that would be cool.
[00:46:33] Speaker A: So I was thinking about this. I was thinking when we, the next guest we have on, if I can get enough of their time, dude, we could do an interview and then we could do a game show with them. That would be fun on as well.
I think that'd be fun.
[00:46:46] Speaker B: Yeah. So anyways, guys, check it out. It's. It's fun. It's something different.
It's not just not. It's no more just topical discussion. We have more than that. And I think all of them are varied and interesting. And then we do this so that we can meaning the live, so that we can answer your questions and interact with you guys and hopefully be a benefit to you in some way. So.
[00:47:09] Speaker A: Well, I think we're ready to get things wrapped up here today. Thank you guys and gals, if there's any gals here, I think they were pretty much all guys for coming and watching. For those that are listening on the podcast, thank you for sticking around listening this long.
